Now then. I'm here to tell you kids about a fun new game called Audiosurf. The best way to describe it is... Guitar Hero meets FreQuency meets... Tetris. Well, if you're playing as something other than Mono. If you're like me, then it's just Guitar Hero meets FreQuency >_>
Anyways, this awesome little game is only $10. Yes, 10 bux. And it's available on Steam. Now, the premise is, you pick a song from your harddrive, the game creates a track based off of it, and you zip along, collecting little colored blocks, forming combos, and scoring insane points. And all the while, your music is playing, colors are flashing, and you're flying along at absurd speeds. It really, -really- is something you have to see to get a good idea of it.
Oh hey, look, I recorded one of my latest runs. Imagine that
[link]Anyways, I'd highly recommend this if you have 10 bux to spare and are looking for a fun, cheap little game that will keep you addicted and let you show off your skillz against people online.
This, and Baldur's Gate 2, are where my free time is going by the way.
Now to let this one sent for a few weeks until I get off my butt and think of a new entry \o/
